I found a great book on the realities of living with wolves and how we got to where we are today.  Every outdoorsman and rancher should have a copy of this and have a working knowledge of what it contains.  I have just started reading it and am already very impressed with the level of detail that it contains.  This is a must read!

When wolves get hungry they will even eat their own kind. How can you expect them to pass on the easy targets (sheep, goats, calves , dogs, kids)?
